The London Concert Orchestra gives a repeat performance of this collection of works by Williams, one of the world’s most successful and influential composers of film scores, and winner of multiple Grammys, Oscars and BAFTAs for his compositions. The programme will include music from the movies Star Wars, Jurassic Park, ET, Superman, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of The Lost Ark, and Superman amongst others. Music from the Harry Potter series will also feature – Williams scored the first three films, including the unmistakable Hedwig’s Theme, and was nominated for Oscars and/or Grammys for each of them.
If previous performances are a guide, Conductor Anthony Inglis is likely to add to the atmosphere by interjecting some of his own humorous touches between the lush musical numbers.
